To All Those Great Nassoons of the Classes of 1957 through 1963, plus Dee Rinker s'60, Dave Howell '55, Kent Mulliken '64, Chuck Goldberg '59.5, and Itala Johnson s'60/63:
At long last we're getting around to that next reunion we talked about at the Frostbite Follies last February in Chicago. And yes, Virginia, there will be another reunion' It will be at the Snowmass Lodge and Club, in the Aspen area of Colorado, and it will take place this July, from Friday, July 17 to Monday, July 20, 1998. Our tireless and loyal friend, Jim Crawford, has spent many hours working out the details, and we are prepared for a grand weekend. This event is not just for singing members, but for spouses, significant others, life partners, and just about anybody any of you would like to bring along, including children, grandchildren, parents, dogs, cats, gerbils, and the like. The more the merrier.
The basic format will be the same as our traditional Nassoon reunions. Singing members should arrive by no later than Friday evening for rehearsal. Saturday we'll gather late afternoon for a quick brushup and Saturday evening we'll perform for any and all present, including any nearby Princeton arums we can corral into attending. Sunday is open for fun, song, and fellowship, and Monday for traveling home.
On Sunday, if there is interest, we may plan a gondola ski-lift excursion to a picnic on the summit, or an evening barbecue on the deck of one of the ground floor condos, or both. Otherwise, it's up to you to take advantage of all the area has to offer.
So far, we've had an outstanding response for the nights of July 17, 18, and 19. To date, Crawf has received verbal or written confirmations from Erich and Patsy Everbach, Bob Brodsky and Toni Treadway, Dunc and Joan Dempster, Dick and Carol Grieves, Pete and Lana Graff, Rich and Vicky McGlynn, Fred Meserve, Dee Rinker, Don and Judy Le Win, Jay Coupe, Blair and Mita Klein, Buzz and Sue Kelsey, Dave Watts and maybe Carol, Chuck and Geri Sethness, Chuck Goldberg and family, Hugh Madden, Dave Howell and Jim and Ann Crawford. I am happy to report that TJ Johnson's widow, Itala, has accepted Bob Brodsky's invitation to join us.
Let's hope there are many more to follow. Meanwhile, here are a few of the happy Snowmass campers!!
